For the fifth consecutive year now, the Cultural Movement of Limassol “Epilogi” organizes the Night of Intercultural Dialogue in May under the title “Musical footprints - One City for All”, in cooperation with migrant associations in Cyprus. The “Musical footprints” aim to bring together various communities in Cyprus, to highlight the culture of both in the fields of music, dance, food and crafts. This year the event will be co-organized with Famagusta Youth Centre (MAGEM) and Youth Power Cyprus and will take place at Heroes’ Square in Limassol, in the evening of Sunday, May 20h at 19:00 – 21:30, with the participation of EPILOGI Mixed Choir, a Bulgarian folklore dance group, the assembles of the MAGEM and the “Slightly Offensive” rock group. There will also be a bazaar with crafts and food of the participating communities and ethnic groups living in Limassol.
The following organisations will get involved in the program: the Cypro-Hungarian Association of Friendship and Cultural Relations, Alliance Francaise Limassol Cyprus, the Slovak Association of Friendship, the Cyprus-Czech Association, the Bulgarian Association of Cyprus and Limassol (Bъзраждане), the Slovenian Honorary Consulate in Cyprus and the Cyprus Ladies Club, but Cyprus, Italy, Germany, Poland and Serbia will also be represented.
The cultural program "Musical footprints – OneCityfor All" is is made possible through the Youth Power Small Grants and funded by UNDP-ACT and supported by the Ministry of Education and Culture and theLimassolMunicipality. The project is organized under the auspices of the Minister of Interior, Mrs. Eleni Mavrou, who will address the event.
